All About the Club
What is GYC
Mixed junior curling club for ages 8 to 21. Learn from qualified coaches, make friends, play competitions. Training and games at Greenacres Curling Rink (postcode PA9 1DE) on Bowfield Road near Howwood. Run by a committee of volunteer parents, coaches and GYC curlers. All skill levels from absolute beginner to advanced competitor are accommodated at all sessions – coaches tailor the sessions appropriate to skills to enable learning, challenge and fun.

Events and Competitions
Regular curling sessions: Mondays 15:30pm to 17:30pm; Sundays 9:45am to 11:45am
Family Christmas curling party: Curlers, family and friends welcome, COVID restrictions permitting.
Other competitions in which our members may curl include -
• West of Scotland junior league: Saturdays, Oct. 12, 2019, Feb. 15 and March 14, 2020
• Skill awards in six progressive levels: skills developed during sessions, assessments take place in March
